Kenneth Davis Kasigila serves as the Group CEO and Founder of Africa Climate Finance. He is the primary visionary behind the organization, focusing on high-level capitalization, global partnerships with climate funds, and the strategic expansion of the group across the continent. He is also Head of Policy Advisory and Climate Finance at CRDB Bank Plc and has led commercial-bank climate finance accreditation and project development work. He subsequently led the approval of a US$200M funding proposal supporting Tanzania's smallholder farmers with affordable loans and grant facilities for climate adaptation in agriculture.
He has participated as a Party and panellist at COP26 (Glasgow), COP27, COP28, and COP29, including at UN climate finance forums. He contributed to the first Green Bond in East Africa (US$300M) and led the Tanzania chapter of MUFG Bank's Project Gaia (US$1.5B), approved by its board.
